Generations
As a wedding photographer, I have had the pleasure of photographing some of the most beautiful couples in some of the most stunning locations. And let me tell you, nothing is near as special or beautiful as meeting with a couple on their family farm. I met with Dillon & LuAnn on her families farm outside of St. Louis Missouri on a warm November evening!
Choosing a location special to you is truly one of the most spectacular ways to make your photo session that much more meaningful. LuAnn's family farm had rolling pastures, tree stands, cows, and her grandmas catfish pond with a new dock. We wandered all around the farm for 2 hours, taking our time and enjoying all of the spots we could stop and spend a little time picture taking.
I have known LuAnn for a long time & when she inquired for their wedding I was absolutely honored. When she told me they were getting married at her family farm & wanted to do engagement shoot there too I was ecstatic. One thing about me is that I absolutely LOVE on-farm weddings, weddings on your families land, photo sessions on your farm, BASICALLY anything on your farm or land sign me up!! We laughed, we joked, and we created some of the most beautiful images I have ever taken. We also spent a little bit of time taking photos at the location where they plan on getting married next November!! Talk about so special.
As we neared the end of the shoot, the sun began to set, casting a warm, golden light over everything in its path. The sky turned a riot of pink, orange, and purple, and I knew we were capturing something truly magical. These photos were going to be treasured for years to come and their 2024 wedding at the farm is going to be absolutely stunning.
