Downtown Little Rock
Want more city scape? Try doing your engagements pictures in Downtown Little Rock! I love being a couples & wedding photographer in Central Arkansas because there are so many options in Little Rock and so many give such versatility! Here are a few of my favorite spots for engagements photo's downtown!
Argenta Arts District - the downtown and small feel that Argenta gives the perfect backdrop for unique engagement pictures. Walking along the sidewalks or stepping into a bar, brewery, or records shop are all options when choosing this location!
Rooftop Parking Garage - to add a bit of privacy (and elevation) you can jump up onto a rooftop parking garage in the river market or somewhere else downtown! Pop a bottle of champagne during golden hour or nestle into a corner barrier.
By the River - Little Rock is known for the River Walk along the Arkansas River and the Big Dam Bridge! Wander around the walk with your lover, under the tunnels or greenery, or the sidewalks along the water for a downtown but waterscape feel!
The Capital Hotel - the famous hotel that offers crisp whites and antique tones!
The State Capital Building - a crowd favorite! The golden doors, large white pillars, and white steps offer a crisp backdrop. Catch it in the spring for the blooming trees!

Fields & Parks
A super unique part of Central Arkansas is the amount of outdoor options, parks, mountains, and more. There is no shortage of gorgeous outdoor landscape in Central Arkansas! When couples tell me they want to be outdoors and in nature I look at parks and nature preserves first! These are a few places I usually use:
Two Rivers Park - this park is my all time favorite no matter what season it is. There is so much option for different landscape! Go down by the river, walk amongst the trees, or find one of the secluded open fields. There is an abundance of nature and wildlife at this park as well!
Emerald Park - This park is nestled in NLR and overlooks the Arkansas River. It offers a gorgeous walking trail of large pines and has a space down below that looks up at the bluffs!
Old Mill - a gorgeous landscaped spot with different architecture, waterfront scenery, and gorgeous flowers in the spring! The sun sets a little early in this shady spot so I recommend getting there about 2 hours before sunset!
Petit Jean Mountain Sunrise Engagement Session
The Mountains
Arguably one of the coolest parts about Central Arkansas is the easily accessible mountains in the region! I always get so giddy when a couple wants to shoot their engagements at one of the mountains in the area!
Petit Jean Mountain - a fan favorite and my most shot at mountain, this gorgeous location in in Morrilton, AR and has so many options for beautiful settings and overlooks. Stouts Point is a sunrise favorite and the overlook at the Lodge is beautiful at sunset!
Pinnacle Mountain - Located close to Little Rock, this mountain is beautiful from the top or in a field along the foothills!
Mount Magazine - Another mountain in Central Arkansas with many overlook options that are beautiful at any time of day!
