Intimate Wedding outside of Little Rock, Arkansas
Emma & Jesus had the most beautiful, glowing wedding day at the Venue at Stonebrook Meadows in Bauxite, Arkansas. It was the perfect distance from outside of Little Rock to still be close to the city but has a rustic, rural wedding feel also. They were surrounded by their closest friends and family, had the sweetest bi-lingual wedding ceremony for both of their families to feel included and rounded out the night with delicious food and fun dancing.
The Venue at Stonebrook Meadows spoke for itself with its super glowy afternoon lighting and gorgeous exterior options with the hill, glass windows and their patio complete with a fireplace! The bride and groom both have getting ready quarters upstairs that allow them to get ready with their parties but yet stay seperate so that they don't see each other until the wedding ceremony. The space is very comfy for a smaller wedding party! Emma & Jesus opted to do a first look to just to make things a little more stress free and allow themselves to enjoy time with family prior to the ceremony.
Their DJ was the bomb.com. forreal, Mario Luna kept the entire reception bopping with both hispanic tunes & american music and everyone (even grandma) was burning up the dance floor. I love photographing weddings that everyone likes to dance. There is nothing better than a busy dance floor at a wedding! I still remember dancing at my wedding, surrounded by all of my friends!
The cake from Blue Cake was delicious and so well designed! It was both so beautiful & classy, yet not over the top and exactly what Emma wanted. I am a huge stan for naked cakes and this one was stunning with the right amount of gold shimmer drip along the edges.
They chose to be stress free, low key and truly enjoyed every moment of their day. When you make wedding day decisions for YOU & not those around you - you will never regret it! We snuck off after dinner for sunset golden hour portraits and then they danced the entire night away after I left.
